Portable Expander Machine

This portable tube expander is a horizontal-layout unit built from six main parts — expansion gearbox, flanging tool, hydraulic station, electrical control box, gantry, and balancer — linked by high-pressure hoses and control cables. Expansion gearbox: houses a cycloidal hydraulic motor, transmission gear, roller gear, guide-clamping device and the expansion rod assembly. In operation, the guide clamp holds the copper or aluminum tube, the expansion ball rides on the expansion rod, and the hydraulic motor drives the rod forward and back through the transmission and roller gears to expand the tube. Flanging tool: a hydraulic cylinder pushes a conical rod and elastic flanging sleeve to open the tube end ahead of expansion. Hydraulic station: oil tank, oil pump, directional solenoid valve, pump motor and relief valve supply hydraulic power to both the expansion gearbox and the flanging tool; cooling is by air. Gantry and balancer: carries the expansion gearbox on a trolley that moves smoothly up/down and left/right, keeping tube expansion even across the workpiece. Available in 1, 2 or 4-tube models, for plain copper tube in soft/annealed condition, diameters from 7mm to 25mm, at an expansion speed of roughly 5–11 m/min. Normal system pressure is ≤7 MPa (10 MPa maximum). Length and expansion-ball diameter are set to the customer's tube spec. Example specification (from one completed build — tube diameter, workpiece length and electrical spec are set per order, so treat the figures below as representative of capability, not a fixed catalog spec): model TSZ-D952-L3000, built for φ9.52mm × 25.4mm center distance × 0.3mm wall copper tube, expanding two tubes per cycle, up to 3000mm workpiece length, 380V/60Hz electrical (to local standard), 2.2kW oil pump motor, supplied with 4 × φ9.52mm expansion balls and 2 × φ7mm expansion rods as spares.
